Make a difference in the life of a horse or a child. Or both!
Thank you for your interest in being a volunteer for the Equine Spirit Sanctuary.
Volunteers are needed to assist with programs and day to day operations. Volunteers assist with horse care, keeping our facility clean, safe and healthy for our equines, helping with activities and programs and fund raising. There are many different ways and opportunities to share your time, knowledge and energy with ESS. Let us know what your special skills and interests are! We look forward to having you as part of the ESS volunteer team.
Program Volunteers are required to do training sessions before assisting. Duties will be assigned according the volunteer’s capabilities and interests and in accordance with ESS goals. Volunteers are encouraged to work with team leaders and directors to advance their skills.
Persons who wish to help with the therapeutic riding programs must attend at least three of the training sessions that are held in May, or do equivalent training time with the instructor/program director. NOTE: 2022 volunteer trainings will be on Tuesdays, from 1 to 3 p.m. Email Ruth if you would like to attend. You can also print out the volunteer form using the link below and send with your email to come out or bring it out when you come to visit ESS.
